My name is Matthew and I’m a graphic designer living in Toronto, Ontario. I graduated from the St. Lawrence College design program, where I was exposed to photography, illustration, branding, web and layout design, typography, print processing and old school graphic design techniques.

I was hired by a tech company called Fortiva, an email archiving provider. While at Fortiva, I learned to apply my design skills to create PowerPoint presentations, an application I had very little experience with. In high school I vowed to never use PowerPoint because I absolutely despised it… ironic how that turned out. Since I also maintained the website, I became familiar working with Google Analytics and Salesforce.com.

I’m currently volunteering at CanadaHelps.org where I help out with simple styles sheets, providing web graphics and creating print material. I'm hoping to do more work in the not-for-profit sector in the future. I've always felt passionately about using design to help promote social and environmental awareness.
